You may want to set an ultimate end result goal, such as a weight that you want to achieve eventually and that is good as long as it isn't too unrealistic and give yourself enough time to reach that goal. Then set smaller goals along the way so you can see yourself reaching them.
2.Reward yourself when you reach your goals
It isn't easy to lose weight so when you are losing some weight and reach those goals then go out and treat yourself to something nice. If you plan ahead and know what your rewards will be when you reach certain milestones then that will help to motivate you more to achieving those milestones.3.Start eating nutritious foods
This is the one that is stating the obvious. To lose weight and maintain a healthy weight you need to eat healthy, nutritious foods and no (or little) junk food. This isn't going to be easy when you are use to eating unhealthy foods but you will adjust to it over time and you will feel better for it long term.4.Start exercising
Exercise is important in your quest to lose weight. Everyone should exercise regardless of whether they are overweight or not, it is good to help your body function as best it can. Introducing exercise into your daily routines will help you to lose fat faster and will give you more energy.5.Drink lots of water
Make sure that you drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Your body needs water to survive and most people don't drink enough of it. Drinking water will help to reduce your hunger and help you to keep to your healthy diet.6.Get enough sleep
If you don't get enough sleep then you won't have the energy to exercise and sleep helps to keep your body working efficiently. So for real success with your weight loss it is important to get enough sleep every night. Be consistent in your weight loss and don't give up.
